Dave Hawkins Knows Natural Health

Dave Hawkins has been a practicing herbalist for over 30 years. Dave is a Certified Nutritional Consultant and he is a past  president of the West Virginia Herb Association.

Dave and his wife, Dr. Bonnie Buchman, a naturopath, opened Integrative Holistic Health Services, a multi-faceted holistic health center in 2001.

Dave is a regular featured lecturer and teacher in addition to his retail business and consulting practice.  Dave has taught courses at both West Virginia University's Integrative Medicine Program and Marshall University

Dave has been a guest on numerous national radio programs including the Debra Ray show.

It was the early seventies when Dave began his studies into natural healing. He was very curious about body systems and how to prevent disease processes.

Dave has explored the eastern approach to wellness and practiced yoga for many years. He is a strict vegetarian and has experimented with numerous diet plans including fasting and macrobiotics. He has investigated the energetics of different foods based on traditional (Ayurveda, Chinese, Native American Indian) systems from around the world.

Dave's is dedicated to his most recent project, Cedar Lane Herb Farm.  Cedar Lane Herb Farm is a work in progress utilizing many aspects of organic and bio-diversity farming practices.  Cedar Lane Herb Farm will aslo serve as a teaching facility for natural health curiculums and natural health issues
